Apple Maple Glazed Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients:
pork, fresh, loin, tenderloin, separable lean only, raw
salt, table
spices, pepper, black
apple juice, canned or bottled, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid
syrup, maple, canadian
spices, onion powder
spices, thyme, dried
cornstarch
water, bottled, generic
Directions:
Sprinkle pork medallions with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet over medium high heat, add pork.
Sear each side for abut 4 minutes, until all sides are no longer pink.
While the pork is cooking, in a small bowl add apple cider, maple syrup, onion powder and thyme.
Mix until combined.
Pour mixture into skillet with pork and cover the skillet.
Cook for about 7 minutes.
Meanwhile in a small bowl add cornstarch and water; mix until combined.
After 7 minutes, set the pork onto a serving plate and leave the sauce in the skillet.
Add cornstarch mixture to the pan and whisk until thick and bubbly, about 2 minutes.
Serve pork covered in sauce.
