Pecan Dipping Sauce for Holiday Ham
Ingredients:
nuts, pecans
butter, without salt
sugars, brown
water, bottled, generic
cornstarch
Directions:
In small saucepan melt butter.
When its hot add pecans and toast them until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes.
Add brown sugar and stir for another 3-5 minutes.
Mix together cornstarch and water, slowly pour into pecans.
Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve warm in dipping dishes.
