Bavarian Meatball Stew
Ingredients:
1 egg (beaten), 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 3 tbsp dried parsley, 1/4 tsp ground allspice, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1 1/2 lbs ground beef, 2 cans beef broth, 1 can diced tomatoes (with liquid), 1 can rinsed sauerkraut, 2 cubed potatoes, 2 sliced carrots, 2 sliced celery ribs, 1 packet onion soup mix, 1 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1 bay leaf.
Directions:
Combine egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, allspice, nutmeg, and pepper. Mix in ground beef and form into 1-inch balls. Bake on a rack at 400
