Muftis - Muesli Balls
Ingredients:
oats
shortening confectionery, coconut (hydrogenated) and or palm kernel (hydrogenated)
nuts, hazelnuts or filberts
raisins, seeded
honey
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
Directions:
Combine all dry ingredients with the honey.
Mix in the milk - but slowly.
The required amount may be a little more or less than 1 1/2 cups to get a sticky dough.
Let the dough rest 30 minutes, then preheat oven to 390 degrees and form walnut size balls.
If the dough is too sticky to form balls, add some more ground hazelnuts.
Bake for about 20-25 minutes until balls are golden brown.
