Pats Stuffed Mushroom
Ingredients:
mushrooms, white, raw
oil, olive, salad or cooking
onions, raw
bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain
cheese, parmesan, hard
parsley, fresh
salt, table
spices, oregano, dried
Directions:
Clean mushrooms.
Remove stems.
Place caps open side up in a greased baking dish; set aside.
Finely chop mushroom stems.
In skillet, heat oil.
Add chopped mushroom stems and onions.
Saute over low heat until onion is lightly brown.
Combine bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, salt and oregano and add this mixture to the mushrooms and onions.
Heat through.
Scoop mixture into each mushroom caps.
Bake in 400F degree oven for 15 20 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and tops are browned.
