Sun Tea
Ingredients:
1 gallon cold water
10 small tea bags or 3 large tea bags
Ice, for serving
Directions:
Fill a 1 gallon glass jar with cold water, add the tea bags and close the lid.
Place the jar outside in direct sunlight. Let it sit for about 1 hour if placed outside in mid-afternoon, or 2-3 hours if placed outside early in the morning or on cooler days. The hotter the day (and sun), the stronger the tea. The water will turn a deep golden brown color.
Remove from the sun and allow to cool before serving. Do not add ice until the tea is cool, or it will turn cloudy.
