Spicy Thai Prawn Curry
Spicy Thai Prawn Curry
Ingredients:
½ teaspoon ground cumin (or whole seeds, pounded)
1 heaped teaspoon ground coriander (or whole seeds, pounded)
2-3 fresh whole green chillies, to taste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
1 can (13.5 ounces) coconut milk
1 pound raw prawns, peeled
1 tablespoon fish sauce
Fresh cilantro
Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a wok and fry the onion until soft. Add the cumin, coriander and chillies and fry for 1 minute.
2. Pour in the coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Add the prawns and cook until pink, 3 to 4 minutes. Season with fish sauce and serve sprinkled with cilantro, with rice.
