Italian Parmesian Croutons for Soups
Ingredients:
spices, basil, dried
wheat flours, bread, unenriched
oil, olive, salad or cooking
Directions:
preheat oven to 350F
using a pastry brush .. brush a thin layer of olive oil on cookie sheet, or foil/parchment lined cookie sheet.
spread out bread cubes in a single layer.
brush top of cubes with more olive oil in a thin layer.
using a shaker or as I do( use my sifter) and sprinkle cheese all over the bread cubes.
toss bread cubes in pan to get the rest of parm onto cubes.. replace in single layer..
bake 15-20 minutes tossing every 5 minutes.
until cubes are crispy andd browned nicely or till desired doneness..
let cool and serve on soup.
or store in air tight container.
