Vegan Homemade Lotion
Ingredients:
water, bottled, generic
oil, olive, salad or cooking

*This can be any scented distiled water including rose water, or an herbal tea.
**I used olive because I had it on hand, but you can use avocado or coconut or experiment...
Measure oil into glass pyrex measuring cup.
Grate the beeswax & measure 3 tbsp into the oil.
Put pyrex measuring cup containing beeswax & oil mixture into a gently boiling water bath.
When wax disappears, remove from bath & let stand 2 minutes.
Meanwhile measure water into a blender.
(I used a handheld blender & matching tall measuring cup).
CAUTION: water must be cool.
Room temp works, or just a bit cooler.
Start blending water & slowly pour in the slightly cooled oil wax mixture while continuing to blend.
At this point add in a few drops of essential oil for scent, but don't overdo it.
If there is any water left ontop keep blending.
