Mace Black Ras El Hanout
Mace Black Ras El Hanout
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 teaspoon ground mace
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon hot paprika
Directions:
1. Combine all the spices and stir until thoroughly mixed.
2. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
Baharat
Baharat is a spice mix used throughout the Middle East: Lebanon, Syria,
Israel, Jordan. Its name simply means “spice” in Arabic. There are
endless variations, so feel free to experiment. Try Baharat on different
vegetables.
