Amazing Avocado
About 77 percent of the calories in avocados come from fat, which makes it one of the fattiest foods in the
world. Ounce for ounce avocados also contain more potassium than bananas, so they’re especially
beneficial during the initial stages of a ketogenic diet when you’re losing water weight and electrolytes.
1. Cut avocados in half lengthwise, remove the pit, and scoop them out of the skin and
into a medim bowl. Add lime juice. Use a fork to mash avocado and lime together,
leaving some chunks intact.
2. Add tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, onion, salt, pepper, and jalapeño (if desired). Mash
with a fork until combined.
