Garlic Creamed Brussels Sprouts
Garlic Creamed Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
5 tablespoons butter, divided
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups sliced Brussels sprouts
Directions:
3⁄ cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1⁄ teaspoon salt

1⁄ teaspoon black pepper
4
1⁄ cup crushed pork rinds

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and
sauté for 3 minutes. Add Brussels sprouts and continue to sauté until Brussels sprouts
are fork tender, about 5 minutes.
3. Transfer Brussels sprouts, garlic, and melted butter to a 9” × 9” baking dish. Add
cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle pork rinds evenly over the top of
Brussels sprouts and top with remaining butter.
4. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Serve hot.

Turnips are often overlooked at the supermarket, but they make a great alternative
to carbohydrate-loaded potatoes when making fries.
