Chai Tea Cake
A moist cake infused with spiced chai tea; it keeps well and can be made a day or two ahead.
Serves 12
Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
2 tablespoons chai tea (about 6-7 tea bags)
3 large eggs, at room temperature
1 3/4 cups organic cane sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
