Oxtail Stew
Serves 4-6
If you’ve never had this hearty and rich dish, you are missing out on a
deliciously flavorful alternative to beef stew. Oxtails are just what they sound like
—meat from the tail of a steer—and they can be found in upscale butcher shops,
some Asian markets or sometimes warehouse stores like Costco. It’s a very tough
cut of meat and needs to be slow cooked for hours, so make sure you plan ahead
before attempting this dish.
