Flintstone Rib eye
Flintstone Rib eye
Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons tahini paste
2 free-range, organic, grass fed rib eye steaks
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions:
Mix the olive oil, garlic and tahini paste in a bowl. Place the rib eye steaks in a
shallow dish and cover them with the marinade. Lightly season with pepper.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
Preheat the grill. Take the steaks from the marinade and place them on the
grill. Cook them for 6-8 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness. A meat
thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the steak should read 140 degrees
for medium-rare and 160 degrees for well done.
Put the steaks on a plate and cover them with aluminum foil. Allow them to
rest for 10 minutes.
Buffalo Kebabs
Serves 4
Kebabs are nothing more than grilled meat and veggies, and you could certainly
cook them in a grill basket. But kebabs are so much more festive, and the food
cooks evenly. Substitute any veggie or meat you wish, or even add fruit, such as
pineapple and peaches.
