Slow-Cooked Turkey Kielbasa Stew

Ingredients:
4 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed

Directions:
1 1-pound bag baby carrots
1 pound fully cooked turkey kielbasa, sliced
1⁄ teaspoon dried basil, crushed

1⁄ teaspoon dried thyme, crushed

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 14-ounce cans reduced-sodium chicken broth
Place the ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for
8–10 hours or on high for 4–5 hours.
MAKE LIME FOR TURKEY BAKE
Heat-and-eat rice and wild rice are available on the supermarket shelves. Some
varieties are also available in the freezer case. This dish is good served with rice or
even with dried chow mein noodles. Add a tossed salad or coleslaw and you have a
complete meal.
Yields 4 servings
4 turkey breast cutlets
Juice from 1 lime (about 1⁄ cup)

1 teaspoon paprika
