Cheese Cornbread
Servings: 18
Ingredients:
• 3 cup Stone floor yellow 5
• Eggs
• -cornmeal
• 3/4 cup Safflower or corn oil
• 3 cup Unbleached flour
• 3 1/2 cup Buttermilk
• 2 1/2 tbsp Baking powder
• 2 cup Cheddar cheese
• 2 tbsp Sugar
• -sharp, shredded
• 1 1/2 tsp Salt
Instructions:
1. Inside a mixing bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar and salt; mix nicely. Individually overcome eggs with oil and buttermilk.
2. Add with cheese to cornmeal mix, stirring ample just to mix all substances effectively. Spoon into 2 8 x 12" greased baking pan.
3. Bake inside of a preheated 425 level oven for 20 to 25 minutes or till cornbread is brown over the gain and organization to the contact.
4. Cut into squares and serve incredibly hot.
