Crusty Peach Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients:
peaches, yellow, raw
sugars, granulated
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
lemon juice, raw
butter, without salt

Directions:
Cobbler: Place peaches in greased 1 1/2 qt casserole.
Sprinkle with mix of sugar and flour, then lemon juice; dot with butter.
Shortcake: Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening till like coarse crumbs.
Combine egg and lowfat milk.
Add in, stirring only till moistened.
Drop in 6 mounds over peaches.
Bake at 425 degrees for 30 min.
Serves 6.
