Oatmeal Pancakes
Ingredients:
oats
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
leavening agents, baking soda
salt, table
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
egg substitute, powder
oil, safflower, salad or cooking, high oleic (primary safflower oil of commerce)
Directions:
Beat all ingredients with hand beater or wire whisk just until smooth (for thinner pancakes stir, in additional 2-4 TBS milk.
Spray griddle or small skillet with cooking spray; heat griddle to 375F
For each pancake, pour slightly less than 1/4C batter onto hot griddle.
Cook pancakes until puffed and dry around the edges.
Turn and cook other side until golden brown.
