Ingredients:
cornmeal, degermed, unenriched, yellow
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
leavening agents, baking soda

shortening, vegetable, household, composite
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
water, bottled, generic
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients.
Add shortening, buttermilk, and water; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Shape into oblong patties, using 13 cup batter per patty.
Stir mixture frequently to prevent cornmeal from settling.
Place on lightly greased baking sheets.
Bake at 450F (230C) for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
