Butter Dips

Ingredients:
butter, without salt
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
salt, table
cheese, cheddar
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 F. Put the butter in a large baking sheet with sides.
Place the baking sheet in the oven until butter is melted.
Remove it from the oven and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, stir the dry ingredients (flour through salt) together.
Stir in the cheese.
Add the milk and stir until the dough comes together.
Scrape it out onto a floured work surface and shape into a ball.
Roll it out into the shape of a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut into bars.
Dip both sides in the butter.
Arrange all the pieces on the pan with a little space between.
Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
