Basic White Sauce A Mother Sauce

Ingredients:
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
butter, without salt
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched

Directions:
This is a basic whia "mother sauce" it can sed as a base for other white sauces.
this recipe is for a medium avy sauce would be 3 tablespoons butter and flour, all three use 1 cup milk
Heat milk in a small pot till warm
While the milk is pot heat butter at a low flour and stir with a whisk breaking a minute or so to cook out the flour flavor
Take the warm milk and add to the butter mix while whisking to breakup up any out medium and cook for a few minutes stirring as you go till the sauce reduces slightly and thickens
That's it you now have a white sauce base, ored ersion will be thin and pourable, medium will be thicker to be spooned on , and the thick version would be a
