Vienna Crescents
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
sugars, granulated
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
nuts, almonds
Directions:
Cream butter until light.
Add sugar and blend well.
Blend in flour, add nuts, and chill dough slightly.
Pinch off a bit of batter, form into crescent shape.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees for 23 to 25 minutes.
Cool on rack.
Roll in, or sprinkle on, powdered sugar when cool .
