Bill's Blueberry Cobbler
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
salt, table
spices, nutmeg, ground
sugars, granulated
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
blueberries, raw
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F.
In an 8x8-inch square or other 2-qt baking dish melt butter.
In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and add sugar until mixed well.
Add milk and whisk batter until just combined.
Pour batter onto melted butter; do not stir.
Pour blueberries into center of batter; do not stir.
Bake 40 minutes, or until cake portion is golden and berries exude juices.
Serve warm or at room temperature with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
