Soy Barbecue Sauce

Yield: 1 qt (1 L)

Ingredients:
- 12 fl oz (375 mL) Japanese-structure soy sauce
- 4 oz (125 mL) Brown sugar
- 8 fl oz (250 mL) Sake (Eastern rice wine) or dry sherry
- 8 fl oz (250 mL) Water
- 6 fl oz (175 mL) Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) Chopped fresh ginger root
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) Chopped garlic
- 8 fl oz (250 mL) Vegetable oil

Directions:
1. First, in a saucepot, merge all components unless the oil.
2. Next, carry to a simmer. Prevent by one-3rd.
3. Then, worry.
4. Finally, incorporate the oil. In advance of employing, incorporate very well to emulsufy; this is very easily completed in a blender.
