Nuoc Cham (Vietnamese Dipping Sauce)
Yield: 15 fl oz (450 mL)
Ingredients:
- 2 Garlic cloves, chopped
- 2�?"4 Contemporary Thai chiles, seeded and chopped
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) Sugar
- 4 fl oz (125 mL) Lime juice
- 4 fl oz (125 mL) Nuoc nam (Vietnamese fish sauce) or nam pla (Thai fish sauce)
- 4 fl oz (125 mL) Water
- 1 oz (30 g) Carrot, reduce fantastic julienne
Directions:
1. First, pound the garlic, chiles, and sugar in a mortar to deliver a paste.
2. Next, level the garlic paste in a bowl and mix in the lime juice, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
3. Finally, include the remaining substances and mix very well.
