Sunflower-Almond Spread
Ingredients:
1.5 cups almonds, 1.5 cups sunflower seeds, 1 carrot, 1 garlic clove, 1/2 chopped red pepper, 1/4 cup minced parsley, 1/2 chopped red onion. Dressing: 4 large tomatoes, 3 tbsp Bragg's, 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
Directions:
Soak almonds and sunflower seeds in distilled water for 6-12 hours. Drain and process with carrot and garlic. Stir in the remaining vegetables. Blend the dressing ingredients in a blender. Reserve 1 cup of dressing and blend into the spread. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve on lettuce with remaining dressing on the side.
