No-Cheese Cheeze Sauce/Dip
Ingredients:
leavening agents, yeast, baker's, active dry
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
cornstarch
mustard, prepared, yellow
salt, table
spices, onion powder
spices, garlic powder
mustard, prepared, yellow
lemon juice, raw
water, bottled, generic
oil, olive, salad or cooking
Directions:
In a sauce pan whisk together water, lemon juice (and Dijon mustard, if using).
Add nutritional yeast, flours and spices.
Whisk to blend.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Stir in oil/margarine.
If making queso sauce, add salsa at this point.
Serve.
