Applesauce Syrup Recipe
Ingredients:
applesauce, canned, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid (includes usda commodity)
apple juice, canned or bottled, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid
spices, cinnamon, ground
spices, nutmeg, ground
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a small saucepan.
Mix well.
Heat through and serve hot.
Helpful Hints: Add in 1/4 apple juice concentrate for a thicker sauce, increase it 1/2 c. for a thinner sauce.
