Extra Chewy Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
sugars, granulated
sugars, brown
cream, fluid, heavy whipping
vanilla extract
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking soda
salt, table
spartan, real semi-sweet chocolate baking chips,
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
In a large bowl, cream together (I used a hand mixer) the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until the mixture is light brown in color.
Add the cream and vanilla and mix well.
Now add the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Mix well again.
Stir in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
At this point your dough will be very crumbly, do not worry!
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
With your hand, take the dough and form a ball approximately 1 inch in diameter.
Place the ball on the cookie sheet.
Continue forming balls until there is no longer dough to use, placing the balls about 2 inches apart.
With the palm of your hand, gently flatten the top of each ball.
Place the cookie sheet in the oven.
Cook the cookies no longer than 10-13 minutes.
The cookies should be barely brown on the bottom when you remove them from the oven, and the tops of the cookies will not be brown at all.
That is okay.
Remove the cookies from the oven and remove them from the cookie sheet onto a cooling rack.
Let them cool completely.
Enjoy!
I know you will.
