Provolone Sauce
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
cheese, provolone
cheese, parmesan, hard
salt, table
spices, pepper, black
Directions:
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in the hot milk, increase the temperature to high, and cook, whisking constantly, until thickened, 4 to 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and whisk in the provolone, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
Serve warm.
