Spinach Provolone Beer Bread
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
salt, table
spices, pepper, black
cheese, provolone
spinach, raw
alcoholic beverage, beer, regular, all
butter, without salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9x5-inch bread pan and set aside.
Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and pepper together in a large bowl.
Stir in the provolone and spinach.
Add the beer and stir until just combined.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Pour the melted butter over the top.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool.
