Overnight Apricot and Bran Rolls (Using Nut Roll Tins)
Ingredients:
cereals, oats, regular and quick, unenriched, cooked with water (includes boiling and microwaving), without salt
sugars, brown
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
apricots, dried, sulfured, uncooked
honey
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
Directions:
Combine the All Bran cereal, sugar, milk, chopped dried apricots and honey in a large bowl.
Cover and stand overnight.
Grease 2 nut roll tins and preheat oven to 190C.
Stir sifted flour into the All Bran mixture.
Spoon mixture into the prepared tins.
Bake upright in the oven for 1 hour.
Stand rolls in tins for a further 10 minutes with the lids kept on.
Remove the lids carefully and turn onto a wire rack to cool.
Serve sliced into rounds with butter.
