Rich Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients:
pascha, organic bitter-sweet dark chocolate chips,
butter, without salt
egg, white, raw, fresh
sugars, granulated
salt, table
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
nuts, walnuts, english
pascha, organic bitter-sweet dark chocolate chips,
cream, fluid, heavy whipping
syrups, corn, light
Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate together over a warm water bath.
Combine the eggs, sugar, and salt together then beat on high until thick and light.
Pour a little of the chocolate mixture at a time into the egg mixture until the egg mixture warms up, then add the rest of the egg mixture.
Fold in the flour.
Pour into a 13X13 pan that has been greased on the bottom only.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350oF about 30 minutes.
Glaze(optional)
Chop the chocolate and put it into a mixing bowl.
Heat the cream and syrup just to a boil and remove from heat.
Pour the hot cream over the chocolate.
Stir the mixture until it is perfectly smooth.
This will take a while.
Pour the warm mixture over cooled brownies.
