Pecan Penuche Recipe
Ingredients:
sugars, brown
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
salt, table
butter, without salt
nuts, pecans
vanilla extract
Directions:
Cook sugar, lowfat milk, butter, and salt in a saucepan to soft-ball stage (236 degrees).
Let cold slightly.
Stir in nuts and extract.
Beat till thick and creamy.
Pour in buttered 8 inch square pan.
Cut in 1 inch squares when cold (64).
