Chicken Pulao
For the rice: Components:
1 1/4 cup raw rice (just about 250 grams)
1 tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. chilli powder
1 tsp. salt or to style
Cilantro/coriander leaves
1 tbsp. oil
For the chicken: Elements:
1 lb. chicken parts
1 tsp. ginger paste
1 tsp. garlic paste
1 tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. chilli powder
2 onions chopped wonderful
1 massive tomato chopped fantastic
1 tsp. salt or to flavor
Cilantro/coriander leaves
1 tbsp. oil
Strategy:
Warmth oil within a weighty bottomed saucepan or if possible a tension cooker and fry the chopped onions and tomato, alongside one another with ginger and garlic, for 5 minutes. Increase chicken, cilantro/coriander leaves, turmeric and chilli powders and salt collectively with 50 % a cup of lukewarm water and cook upon medium substantial warm for 10 minutes. Stir within just the rice, turmeric and chilli powders and salt collectively with 2 cups of lukewarm water, go over tightly with a lid and cook upon medium significant warmth for a further 15 minutes.
Garnish with cilantro/coriander leaves.
