Warm 2-1/2 cups milk in a medium saucepan. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds; add the seeds and pod to the saucepan and simmer over medium heat.
In a higher bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar and cornstarch until it turns light yellow.

Mood the eggs via slowly but surely pouring the scorching milk mix, above A person cup at a season, into the egg mixture, whisking always (this is considerable, in another way you’ll crank out scrambled eggs).

Pour the mixture again into the pan. Position more than medium heat and stir regularly with a picket spoon till the eggnog begins to thicken, relating to 6-7 minutes.
