Ingredients:

- 1 c. shortening
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 4 c. flour

Directions:
1. Prep and measure ingredients.
2. Combine ingredients in the recommended order.
3. Adapted method:
