El Torito's Black Bean Soup
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbls. vegetable oil
- 2 Tbls. flour
- 1/4 cup purple chile powder, light
- 2 cups beef broth, contemporary or canned
- 2 cups tomato puree, canned
- 1/2 teas. oregano, dried
- 1/4 teas. cumin
- 1/2 teas. granulated garlic
- 1 teas. salt (to taste)
- 15 minutes.
Directions:
1. Prepare all ingredients and equipment before starting.
2. Build the dish in stages over medium heat, stirring as needed.
3. Adapted method: Warmth oil in just higher saucepan. Increase the flour to the oil and create a roux. Stir and cook above medium warmth for 2 minutes right up until it gets brown inside of colour. Increase the chile powder, beef broth, t.
