FRENCH OR BELGIAN STEAMED MUSSELS

Ingredients:
- Water, as necessary
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups dry white wine or ale
- 3 tablespoons contemporary tarragon or thyme, chopped

Directions:
1. Assemble and measure all ingredients before beginning.
