Figs Minutes
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon cold organic unsalted butter
4 cups fresh figs, halved
½ cup sugar
4 medium free-range eggs
½ cup organic whole milk
3 tablespoons organic unsalted butter, melted
1 cup all-purpose flour
Directions:
Pinch of kosher salt
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
2. Grease a round shallow pie plate with the cold butter.
3. Arrange the figs in the pie plate, some cut side up, some cut side down. The plate
should be crowded with figs.
4. Combine the sugar, eggs, milk, and melted butter in a large bowl or food
processor. Process until the ingredients are well mixed. Then add the flour and salt.
Your batter should be thick but pourable.
5. Pour the batter over the figs and bake until the batter is set and slightly golden
brown. Serve at room temperature.
RICE PUDDING WITH DRIED CHERRIES

This rustic rice pudding with delicate dried cherries and a touch of maple syrup is
a cold weather favorite at the Snow household. Aside from the syrup there is no
sugar added. This dish makes me very happy!
MAKES 8 SERVINGS
