CARAMELIZED CARROTS

Ingredients:
- 1 pound carrots, peeled and lower into 1„ "-thick slices
- 1 cup apple juice
- Water, as essential
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup slivered or sliced almonds

Directions:
1. Assemble and measure all ingredients before beginning.
2. Prepare the pan or pot and preheat if the dish requires oven cooking.
