Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin and Apples
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
2 pounds free-range, organic pork tenderloin
1/2 cup white wine or chicken stock
3 tart apples, peeled and quartered
2 tablespoons softened butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions:
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork tenderloin
and brown on all sides.
Transfer the pork tenderloin to a slow cooker. Season with black pepper. Pour
the white wine or chicken stock over the roast and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Add the apples to the slow cooker. Mix the remaining ingredients in a small
bowl and pour over the apples. Cook an additional hour.

You’ll find a lot of fish on the Paleo diet—it’s good for you, and with a mild
white fish there are lots of ways you can cook it. Any mild white fish, such as cod or
tilapia, works well here, but feel free to use what you have.
