Baked Pears
Baked Pears
Ingredients:
4 ripe pears (any variety)
4 tablespoons crème fraîche
1 tablespoon icing sugar
Directions:
juice and zest of 1 orange
Peel and core the pears and wrap them in foil. Cook them
on the barbecue grill for 30-40 minutes, or directly in
campfire embers for 20-30 minutes. In the meantime mix
together the crème fraîche, orange juice and icing sugar.
Serve the pears in bowls with this creamy, orangey mixture
spooned over the top, garnished with a sprinkling of the
orange zest.
