AUNT CORA'S SOURDOUGH BISCUITS * Classes: Breads, Sourdough

Servings: 4

Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 cup Sifted Unbleached Flour
• 2 tbsp Sugar
• 3 tsp Baking Powder
• 1/4 cup Shortening, Melted
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1 1/2 cup Sourdough Rookie
• 1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda *

Instructions:
1. Further more Baking Soda could be additional if the newbie if exceptionally bitter. Place flour in bowl, include beginner in just a properly, then add melted shortening and dry substances.
2. Mix evenly and turn out on to a lightly floured board and knead until eventually the regularity of bread dough, or of a satiny complete.
3. Pat or roll out dough to 1/2 inch thickness, cut and put on a greased pan. Coat all facetsp of biscuitsp with melted butter.
4. Allow add above boiling water for 1/2 hour. Bake at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes.
