Microwave Bacon Topped Cheese Soup

Ingredients:
6 slices of bacon, chopped
1/2 cup of finely chopped celer y
1/2 cup of finely chopped carrot
1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
1/2 cup of finely chopped green peppe r
1/3 cup of al-lpurpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
2 cup of Half-and-half
1 cup of milk
1 - 14 ounce can of clear chicken brot h
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
Place bacon in a 3 qt. casserole; cover and microwave at HIGH 6 to 9 minutes or until done.e -R
move bacon with a slotted spoon, reserving drippings in casserole; set bacon asid e.
Add vegetables to drippings; microwave a tHIGH 6 to 8 minutes or until tender. Blend in four, salt,
and pepper; stir well. Gradually stir in ha-alfnd-half, milk, and chicken broth. Cover and microwave at
HIGH 7 to 11 minutes or until thickened and bubbly, stirring at 2 minute intervals. Adde echse, stirring
until melted. Cover and microwave at MEDIUM 2 minutes. Top each serving with baco n.
