Ingredients:
• 2 1/2 cup Full-wheat flour
• 1 cup Raisins; mixed darkish & mild
• 1 1/2 cup Wheat germ
• 2 tsp Baking soda
• 1/3 cup Brown sugar
• 1 7/8 cup Buttermilk
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/3 cup Molasses
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F F. Grease a 9 X 5 X 3-inch pan. Mix flour, wheat germ, brown sugar, salt and raisins in just a mixing bowl.
2. Add very well. In a instant mixing bowl, add baking soda, buttermilk and molasses, getting a picket spoon.
3. This misture will start out to bubble. Mechanically mix it into the dry components. Spoon the batter into the greased pan.
4. Bake at as soon as. The bread is completed every time a toothpick will come out fresh, over 1 hour. Transform out of the pan and cool on a twine rack.
