Fresh and Natural Deodorant
Ingredients:
□ 1/2 cup coconut oil
□ 1/2 cup shea butter or cocoa butter
□ 1/2 cup beeswax pastilles
□ 1/2 cup arrowroot powder or tapioca starch
□ 3 tablespoons food grade diatomaceous earth
□ 1 teaspoon Vitamin E oil to preserve
□ 20 drops essential oils combination – peppermint essential oil (8 drops) and lavender essential oil (12
drops) or Valor (10 drops) and tea tree essential oil (10 drops) for a more masculine scent
Directions:
In a double boiler or a microwave, slowly melt the coconut oil, shea butter, and
beeswax together. Stirring frequently. Add the arrowroot powder first, mix well,
then add the diatomaceous earth stir to combine. Add the vitamin E and 20 drops
of the essential oils of your choice and combine well. While the mixture is still
pliable, fill deodorant containers or mason jars. Let them rest until they are at
room temperature and solid. Apply daily or as needed using your hand or
deodorant tube applicator.
Peppermint Toothpaste
This blend will keep your mouth feeling fresh and smelling minty without any hard
to pronounce ingredients with unknown long term effects.
