Gamblin' Man Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:
applesauce, canned, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid (includes usda commodity)
catsup
sugars, brown
lemon juice, raw
spices, paprika
spices, garlic powder
spices, cinnamon, ground
spices, pepper, black

Directions:
Combine wet ingredients into sauce pan and simmer.
Slowly add brown sugar (in thirds of overall quantity) and stir until fully dissolved.
Add spices.
Reduce heat to low and cook an additional 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Store refrigerated for 30 days or freeze.
