Classic Belgian Waffles
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
salt, table
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
syrup, maple, canadian
applesauce, canned, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid (includes usda commodity)
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
vanilla extract
Directions:
In a medium sized bowl mix together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
In a separate, larger bowl mix together the maple syrup, apple sauce, non-dairy milk, and vanilla.
Once the wet ingredients are well incorporated - add in the dry ingredients and mix well until combined.
Cook according to your waffle maker's directions.
